“This is not expedition weight material, but it is an excellent piece for layering beneath a helmet or another stocking cap. This is the only balaclava I've had that protects around the eyes as well as it does. The merino wool is comfortable, wicks nicely and wears wells. Great piece of gear to keep in the pack just in case, weighs next to nothing.”
