Thus, I would hesitate to recommend it to anyone with a hat size of 7 1/2 or larger. The product was described as being lightweight and it is. Thus, it is most suitable for moderately cold weather. I plan to use it when camping out in 30-degree-plus temperatures and it should be fine for that purpose.

Work great under bicycle helmets and probably ski helmets(have not tried yet). Non-irritating to the skin. They are slightly big right now. They would not fit my husband, who has a large, blocky head. The neck length is fine for a child or small adult.

Warm enough for most days on the mountain. I will say that the fit is a little tight for my large head. Wish it was a little bigger but for the price I am very happy. My wife will probably use it too since her head is a little smaller than mine.
