Terramar Lightweight Balaclava - Silk (For Men and Women)

Great, thin and light. Does not make helmet fit tighter. Opening around face is large enough to pull under chin and not be tight.

It feels good except for the wide seam that runs down the center of the entire piece, front and back. It's only bothersome in the lower front portion as it goes over the mouth and chin. Also, the top edge of the lower portion rides up against my nose, making it yet more uncomfortable. I tried wearing it inside out and this is better but still not totally comfortable. I keep wanting to pull it down under my chin to improve the comfort, so I will probably send it back. I also wish it was neutral-colored instead of black, so it won't stand out so much.

Works well, seems like it will pass for the use intended of keeping the head warm on those winters hunts when a chill is in the air... Silk keeps you warm but also low weight.

Nice lightweight, but warm balaclava - it protects my ears without compromising hearing. The fit is a bit odd (one size fits all), but I can make it work.

This a great coverup for head, mouth and nose. I have equines and feeding in the morning can be very cold here in Colorado.It helps keep my asthma at bay by keeping my mouth and nose covered from the cold air. And I can wear it under my riding helmet to keep warm while riding. I bought 3 more!

I'm not sure how it will work for the slopes, as I bought it to wear under a motorcycle helmet during the wintertime. It is very lightweight, in fact my husband mistook it for a pair of ladies' panties.

The center front seam ends in a hard knot right under your chin or over your mouth or nose depending on how you have it on. Side seaming would have eliminated the problem and improved the fit. Other than that it's nice. I put it on and forget it's there sometimes, worn around the neck like a gaiter. It's a lighweight, smooth, warm layer to wear under a hood or hat.

Provides warmth without bulk under bike helmets.

Use as a liner for my motorcycle helmet. Be careful stretching this over your head or you will tear the thread in a seam.
