My wife introduced me to silk long underwear many years ago. They are VERY comfortable; not bulky; does not make me sweat. STP had the best price I have seen anywhere. The ordering was easy on the website and it arrived at my doorstep very quickly.

They are very comfortable and add a noticeable amount of protection with no bulk, which is useful for sports involving precise movement. I am a figure skater, and these do the job quite well. However, they are delicate and usually develop tears and holes before one year of use, so I have to get a new pair each season.

Also I work in a steelmill. It's important to wear natural fibers, because of the heat involved. Cotton is too bulky for my likes. I would have rated these a 5, but they don't last. They snag, run like stockings, or they just act like they dry rot, & fall part. Usually this takes about 2yrs. I normally have 5 to 6 pair on hand
