Terramar Long Underwear Shirt -Woolskins Long Sleeve (For Women)

I am super sensitive to wool, and so this itches a little - probably okay for most buyers. Good product overall and bought at a great price.

Using the top as a base layer, light, warm and soft

I like the warmth, but non of the sizes I bought fit me right. S, M, L.. The S and M were too short in the arms and length (I'm 5'7")and the S was too small. Large is too baggy but I kept it anyway.

This a soft, insulating layer that I bought to wear when I kayak w/ my husband. It is great for water sports b/c it doesn't absorb the water and the wool keeps you warm. He has the men's version and wears it often (I am a more casual kayaker but I do it enough that I want to have the right gear so I can enjoy myself). I am a solid size 18 and this is a good snug, but not overly tight, fit.

I've purchased several brands of long underwear, including high-end, expensive ones. Of all the brands I own, Terramar Woolskins is the best. It's the only brand I'm going to continue to buy. I have four Terramar shirts and will get more. It's so soft you can hardly believe it's wool, but surprisingly warm for how light the fabric is. The knit moves nicely without binding. The fit is smooth and snug without being tight, so I can wear it under nice tops and it doesn't show. I hope that Terramar will add a style with a low neckline that can be worn under lower cut tops. Even so, Terramar Woolskins is great.

I use these tops for daily wear they are comfortable and not too itchy.

This is an excellent T-shirt to travel with as it can be worn on its own or under other tops. Also, it's comfortable over a wide range of temperatures and types of activities.

I use this for layering -- it's thin but keeps me warm, so it's great as a layer. However I find this to be itchy, so I can't wear it all day. It's still useful to me for running or cycling trips. I am very sensitive to fabrics against my skin, so this is probably fine for a less sensitive person. However I would not purchase again because of the itchiness.

Actually, this was the second one that I've bought, I liked the first one so much. Layers well; I wore it under sweats and also under thick shirts and sweaters without a lot of added bulk, but it can also be worn as a regular knit shirt; it looks that good. And not only is it very warm, it's washable, which is one of my requirements when I start searching for wool garments. I've washed both about a half-dozen times now, on delicate, and hang them over my shower door to dry, with great results.

My only disappointment is that I thought it was the "HEAVY" version, but it is very light weight. Also, in my other heavy version, I ordered a large and it fit very well. With this one, the size large was a bit too big, but, since I mostly wear it for layering, I kept it anyway. My preference is just the very heavy version, but if you are looking for a lighter version and it fits you as you expect, it is a nice top. As far as recommending it to a friend, it depends on what you are looking for. As stated before, if you want a light weight top that is good for layering, buy your correct size (runs large) and you will be happy.
