Terramar Silk Long Underwear Shirt - Lightweight, Long Sleeve (For Men)

Bought this for my guy, who has extremely sensitive skin. He likes it because he can add it for extra warmth under another long sleeve shirt. It is very thin, so it looks kind of goofy by itself, but it's too delicate to wear without something covering it, anyway. He has super long arms and the arms are too short for him. He wears it under dress shirts and shirts that irritate him.

Seems like this will be a great baselayer based upon its lightweight design; however, as previous reviews have mentioned the shirt is indeed super thin (see-through practically). That being said, if it holds up on warmth as others have said; Terramar makes a great product with its warmth to weight ratio.

I have three.

I commute by bicycle 15 miles each day...in Minnesota, including winter. Some morinings are VERY cold (-5*F), and some afternoons in the same week can be in the 4o*F's. It has been a challenge to find clothing that is warm, wicking, and breathable and works well all temps, all winter. These silk shirts are the part of the answer for me. This base layer is the best I have found. Too thin to wear without something over, though. Men probably wouldnt care, but women may find them too revealing.

The shirt was snug. It completely lost shape after one wash (followed washing instructions) Did not put in dryer. The right sleeve and back shrunk.Now I have to either pay $5.95 to return or keep it.!!!!!!!!!!

very disappointed with this product. I called cust service and spoke to a rep, I asked about the fit of the xl, gave her sleeve lenght, height, she checked and said it should fit. the sleeves were 3/4 lenght, material felt flimsy. wasted my money on shipping charges.
