Terramar Woolskins Long Underwear Bottoms - Merino Wool, Heavyweight (For Men)

I bought these for my husband who has really poor circulation in his leg. I bought several different types and these were his favorite - even though the professes to hate wool. He liked them so much I bought a second pair!

I WALK 2/12 MILES EACH MORNING IN PRETTY COLD WEATHEER THI UNDERWEAR HAS KEPT ME WARM, AND COMFORTABLE. JUST HOPE IT HOLDS UP FOR CONTINUED USE.

I work outside in Michigan. I bought these to wear underneath jeans in the winter. They are warm and comfortable, however they ripped in two places after two days wear. I was very displeased with the quality. I guess I'll stick with Filson.

My husband is terminally cold. I have tried about every long john on the market, but shied away from these because they were wool, which he professes not to like. They turned out to be the hit of the holiday season - so much that I ordered a second pair. Happily, they don't itch and are keeping him warmer than some of the high-tech stuff out there.

Was very happy with the charcoal grey pair when I got them. Even thought they are a bit thinner then I would of liked it was alright for mid/light layer and I needed one. First thing that threw me off was the fit. Not nearly as well fitted as some other name brands but this did not bother me much. They still fit well with no real big draw backs. The main problem with was frail over all. I got holes in them after one full day of work on the back side. My jeans I wore that day are bit big so I often need to pull them up a tad bit even with a belt on. after one full work day I had holes 2 of them in the stitching in the back presumably where my jeans rubbed from pulling them up. Now if this happened after a dozen uses with my bad jeans I would understand but one day? I was going to give them 4 stars for the price and over all feel but being that fell apart pretty much after one full day of use I have to give 2 stars. I may still but the top because I love the feel and find the price great for wool. Only going to use for under my snow shell for now on after I stitch repair them. Hope it was bad luck or my bad jeans because I would like more. my 2 cents =\ *at this time I would not recommend but I must say they feel great.

Nice and warm for being so thin. Better than my old gear.

These 'longjohns' are all-around great; it happened that mine came with a fault in the weave that with just a couple of wearings grew into a run in the fabric down the backside. A bummer-if you know what I'm saying. Aside from that, no problems, and I would buy these again.

Unfortunately, I will be returning these merino wool long underwear pants. Although they are warm and comfortable, I noticed several holes appeared in the seat after I had worn them only once or twice. I'm of medium build, so my feeling is, is that the pants are not as well made as they should be.
