Terramar Silk Interlock Turtleneck - Long Sleeve (For Men)

Nothing fancy here, but the turtleneck top will avoid wearing a scarf or other neck protection in moderately chilly situations.

I ordered a large, so the sleeves would be long enough. My shoulders are normal, but the shirt was much too wide across the shoulders and much too short in both the sleeves and body. I wore it under a dress shirt and, due to the short length, with dress slacks at normal waist. Shirt would never work with jeans! Per handling instructions, we tumble dried to unwrinkle; shirt immediately began to show wear. Clearly, shirt must be hand-washed & lay-flat dried.

Nice silk wear. I use these as under shirts with my retro western shirts. Keeps the collar clean and the drafts down when riding in the cold. Careful washing as prior ones have lost some luster due to neglectful machine washing.

This is my favorite under layer. I put it on any time I'll be out in the cold and it regulates my core temp so that I don't get chilled. Even when inside it's seldom too hot, so that I hardly ever feel overheated.

This purchase was a waste of money. It's so thin you can see through it and it provides absolutely no warming functionality at all. Even the men's has pink tags. Imagine black see through tights with pink labels. I'm going to be much more careful buying off brands from this site from now on. Everything else I've purchased from sierra has been great. I strongly suggest that someone from Sierra go over to the warehouse, pull one of these off the shelf, and see what you are selling people.

Excellent under any shirt as an extra layer without being heavy or cumbersome!

I purchased this product in preparation for a trip to Alaska, where the temperature can swing from 90 to minus 30 degrees. I did a mild three mile hike in the Sierras, wearing these as a base layer, a UV shirt, and a light jacket. The temperature was about 50 degrees and cloudy. I sweat lightly going up a few hills. The base did not wick moisture away and I remained wet. When the hike was done, I got pretty darned cold. In my opinion, this product is not suitable for any serious outdoor activity.

Treat yourself to silk!

I use these to layer under a dress shirt in cool weather, for casual dress. Looks great, but the body is a little short, for me.
