Extremely lightweight and surprisingly warm. As I've gotten older my fingers get cold very easily. I wear these when the temps are below 50 down to 10 degrees.. As I get moving, I eventually take them off, fold them and stash them away in my back pocket. I've even worn them in the rain and they've... Read More

  • Question “What are product measurements , and how do u measure ?”
Asked on 2/5/2015 6:55:11 PM by Midi from Nyc
    • Answer If you click on one of the size options on the product page, you will see a "girth" measurement displayed. "Girth", in this case, refers to the circumference of your hand, just below the fingers. Measure it with a flexible tape, or with a piece of string which you then lay against a ruler to measure its length. You should buy the glove size which is slightly larger or the same as your measurement, depending on how snug a fit you desire. I've found that these Terramar gloves do not shrink when washed, so I would not advise you to buy a larger size than you need, especially if you intend to use them under other gloves.

    • Answer Gloves are usually measured at the largest width (or circumference) across/around the knuckles. These XL gloves measure 4 1/2 inches across the knuckle area. They measure 8 inches from tip of middle finger to end of glove part, and 10 inches to bottom of ribbing around the wrist. Hope that helps.

    • Answer The gloves run true to size. They stretch so order a small if you like them tight.

    • Answer It isn't designed to do it, but it works if you moisten your finger tip, or if your sweating a bit, i.e., if you're hiking briskly, your body gives off enough moisture so that it works, at least for me. I gave two pairs and they both work that way. Good luck! They're excellent liners (I wear alone)

  • Question “How are gloves and mittens sized?”
Asked on 12/27/2010 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer To measure your hand size correctly, measure the widest part of your hand (excluding your thumb), generally around the knuckles. The sizes are listed in inches.
