My wife ordered these for me to wear as a second layer in cold weather which we've had a lot of lately. By themselves they won't do much but they cut the wind and are so light it's like you're bare handed. They run a little on the long-fingered side.

I'm a skate skier and I go through a lot of gloves. I always use liners with my gloves for added warmth. These liners are great. They are warm, well made and they seem like they will last longer than the silk liners I have used in the past. The silk one's always seem to tear at the seams especially around the thumb and forefinger after a short time, but these don't seem like they will do that. I like the gripper details too, these make it so I don't have to take the liner off for certain tasks like handling a water bottle or opening an energy bar.
Mine worked but I had to press hard and sometimes twice.

It isn't designed to do it, but it works if you moisten your finger tip, or if your sweating a bit, i.e., if you're hiking briskly, your body gives off enough moisture so that it works, at least for me. I gave two pairs and they both work that way. Good luck! They're excellent liners (I wear alone)

No, you'll have to take them off to use any touch-screen devices
