“Synthetic base layers are usually too hot for me, so I tried these. It is amazing that this is actually wool -- it does not scratch and is incredibly thin. Works fine under my tight jeans for some extra warmth indoors and out. I am waiting to try them working in the Arctic this summer, where temps can vary widely during the day. I wanted to be able to be out in the early morning and be comfortably warm without having to remove them later in the day when the sun came up and the wind dropped. Will see, but I think these may do the job.”
