I just got this product last night. I wore both the top and bottom to sleep. I am from CA (get cold anytime it's <60deg) and bought them really for NYC winters as my BF lives there. But as it was 32deg this am in San Jose, I'm def buying more. I'm 5'1" and weigh 113#s. It fits perfetly. The bottoms are a bit long but can be easily gathered at the angle w/o a problem. Wool usually causes me to break out in a rash/hives and get really itchy but these don't do that. Bottom is truly a trim fit (just like I wanted) and fit under my yoga pants, jeans, and trousers (i'm a size 0/2 petite). The top is a classic fit, but fits under my xs T shits and sweaters. Can't wait to see if they keep me from freezing in NY on NYE and on our ski trip in Wyoming in Feb

I've worn these under fleece lined jeans at home and outside, but it hasn't been under 20 degrees F. I'm really cold by nature and wear fleece jeans in the house most of the winter even though we keep it around 73 inside. I think they'd be best for folks who want a thin, wool base layer under their jeans or slacks. They are exceptionally well made and have a really comfortable waistband. The wool is fine and soft. I like things lose and weigh 112 lbs, but bought a medium. Most folks my size would wear a small, I think.

I ordered one pair in medium, which is my usual size. It was a little snug and low-waisted, but not tight and it didn't shrink in the wash. I used it so much when cycling that I ordered two more, except I upped the size to large. These fit the way I would have expected medium to. In 20-30F weather, they keep you warm without letting you overheat when combined with a pair of cycling tights and, perhaps, windbreaker pants. I also wear them as a base layer at home. I can keep the thermostat down without having to wear the old, thick, itchy wool underwear I once did. A note on itchiness: I don't find that this itches, but it does feel like wool. A very sensitive friend of mine thinks it itches slightly.

These fit like a second skin and I had to exchange them for a size LARGE (I have not yet received the large so I can't comment on that.) I wear a size 4 or 6 and the mediums were very tight.

I wear these under my jeans and they are very comfortable and slim so it doesn't make me look bigger. The only recommendation is to go one size up for proper fit (I usually buy smalls but went with a medium on this). I don't find it itchy. It is not as soft as my icebreaker long underwear, but they were a fraction of the cost of my icebreakers and are great high use thermal bottoms

The item is described as relaxed fit, which is accurate, it is snug but not tight, the relaxed part appears to be lengthwise. (But again, it is not at all tight and I am not petite or small or slim or thin by any means.) Breathes well because it is all made from merino wool. Also very comfortable and warm, and not scratchy at all. Highly recommend and I will probably buy another pair. As for the length, it's easy enough to fold the cuff to make up for it.

I am a skinny person 118# 5'8" and these fit like a second skin. I tried both small and medium and am thinking I'd like to see a large, especially when I intentionally gain some weight. So I'd call them trim fit, not relaxed. The packaging says the merino wool is non itchy, but they are somewhat itchy in that nylon-panty-hose kind of way. I'm a veteran wearer of Terramar's silk underwear which is way softer. But they are warm.
