I used this product under my jeans, and they did not add any bulk, but did add warmth. and they washed well.

When silk longjohns aren't quite enough, these are just as lightweight but a little warmer, especially skiing on cold, windy days and the lift ride is long.

As stated, not as warm as Smartwool tights.These were purchased as a cost-effective alternative, but did not deliver the same performance. Shoulda known :(

Too baggy in the legs and the cuff is missing.

The weight of the wool long johns is perfect, not too thin, not too thick. The Large ran a little bit big, not too much, but I would order a medium next time. Love the top as well. I am a natural fiber gal. They wash nicely, don't retain odors, etc. Great product.

I work in a historic brick building with no insulation in Montana, so I wear long underwear every day all winter. I love these -- they are comfortable and warm. Wish they had a touch of stretch to them, but otherwise, these are the best.

Warm! I wore these under my jeans while inside on a single digit day and was not uncomfortable. They kept me warm when I did venture outside to shovel snow. I expect to get a lot of use from them while XC skiing.

Great for everyday wear - wish I had bought more!

I live in Minnesota, where the winters are cold. I can wear these lightweight long underwear under my regular clothing to work without heavy bunching. I keep warm all day.

Synthetic base layers are usually too hot for me, so I tried these. It is amazing that this is actually wool -- it does not scratch and is incredibly thin. Works fine under my tight jeans for some extra warmth indoors and out. I am waiting to try them working in the Arctic this summer, where temps can vary widely during the day. I wanted to be able to be out in the early morning and be comfortably warm without having to remove them later in the day when the sun came up and the wind dropped. Will see, but I think these may do the job.
