love the style and fit of this top, not too sheer
so you could wear alone, but light enough to wear
under a tee and plenty of room if you're busty, also nice length. washes up beautifully and no itch! I was tired of freezing and bought an additional 2 i loved the first one so much.

I have an older Terramar merino undershirt and expected this one to be similar in style and quality. I was happily surprised! The fabric is much finer and smoother and similar in quality to the expensive New Zealand company's 150 weight. The raisin color is a really pretty deep purple. The coolest thing is the snazzy contrast seaming on the sides that makes it really sporty looking, and does not show up in the photo. I'm very tempted to get it in black although I already have about 6 other black merino shirts.

The merino is top rate: smooth, stretchy, soft, warm for it's lite weight. I like this top very much and will get the bottoms soon. It's more stretchy and a little heavier than Ice Breaker fabric and sized larger; and it's more true to size than that brand. I had a problem with the tightness and stiffness of IB fabric so this is much better in that regard. Very comfy and I love the eggplant color ... goes with everything. Works well as an outer top too.
