    I have a chimney for the coals, and need to pour the hot coals from the chimney onto the grill. These gloves are perfect for doing this, although are big for me. They probably are better for a man's hand but otherwise, perfect.

    I've always used regular leather work gloves with my woodstove and they offer precious little protection and fall apart. These fire wrangling gloves are fantastic: all they're cracked up to be. Only one size and, for a gal, my hands are large and still they are bulky, but not a big deal for the total coverage and safety. Nothing hurts these gloves.
