I wore these for 3 days while camping and kayaking down the Devil's River. They held up very well and showed no signs of wear and tear. However, tehy were a little difficult to get on, and by the end of the trip I had about 3 blisters on each of my feet. Not large ones, but they were annoying.

After wearing them several times, I still like my old Teva open toe sandals for longer walks. These are good for beach wading, sailing (where you're inclined to get wet in a small boat) or kayaking since they protect your feet yet drain the water out. Not for concrete or asphalt, not enough cushioning. More bare-foot friendly than Salomons Tech-Amphibeans. I wear a wide 8 and got 8 1/2's to compensate and they fit well.

Bought these both as a replacement for old Teva type sandals and for use on a cruise to the Bahamas. When I tried them on in my living room at home their seemed to be a seam that was on the inside of each foot and would "poke" just above the arch; I almost returned them. The trip arrived and I took them along, they worked out GREAT! No slipping on the boat deck while Parasailing, stayed on sung while being in the pool at Margaritaville and were light and unobtrusive the whole time. The "seam concern" never came up!
