“Not as good as I hoped”

“Bought these for a 6 day canoe trip on the Boundary waters. Wore them a couple of times before the trip for short periods of time to break them in. But, the first day out they abraded my pinkie toes so badly they bled and they stayed that way for the week. After healing a bit at home I tried again on a local boat outing with the same problem. Also, one of the grommets for the lace hold down broke. VERY disappointed with these shoes and they won't get worn again. In fact they are being replaced by a pair of Keen Newport H2's....”
