    I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe. Initially, they weren't as comfortable as I thought, but the more I wear them, the more I like them. I was concerned about the width because I wear a size 13 and have wide feet. However, the shoes fit very well.

    Reasonable arch support; not really enough for very high arches but better than most. Easy to substitute one's own orthotics. Elastic at the sides is wedge-shaped for an easy on/off but still strong enough to keep the shoes firmly on and stable. It is a well-designed and well-made shoe.

    I bought these for a trip, and they were great slip-ons for going through airport security. Initially they felt great, but I found that my feet soon grew tired from lack of support. I was doing lots of walking on this trip and originally thought these would be my all-purpose shoes for the trip. but I soon switched to hiking shoes and used these only for my many airport transfers.
