(1) They were comfortable right out of the box. (2) Also, I took them with me on a 10-day vacation in the south of France, where I walked on small roads, on farmer's paths, and in the fields, at least 2 hours every day. They stood up very well. (3) Finally, several people told me these sandals looked nice.

May just be my foot, but they are going back. Good looking sandal though. No reflection on Teva overall.
