Reviewed by Wilderness Guy David from California on Friday, May 17, 2013I used these for fly fishing streams and wet crossings while backpacking. I found them to have good grip on the rocks and enough support to protect my feet for short distances with a backpack on (45 lbs).

Unlike the Salomon you don't have to break it in - it's comfortable right out of the box. I did note that it's 1/2 size smaller than others. I normally wear 8.5 so I have to get 9. Minor gripe - the slip in function is not as easy to slip in as Salomon but feel secure once in.
