Reviewed by ResearchShopper from Florida on Saturday, May 18, 2013I can't believe the comfort of the Teva Churnium. I have issues with my feet and usually need arch supports. The day I got these I wore them around for shopping at Home Depot (now there is a work out for the feet, miles and miles of concrete!) plus a one mile walk around town. Very comfortable. They really stay on my feet, in fact I loosen the heel strap and usually use a shoe horn to slip them on easily. There is also a "clinching" loop around the foot opening to further enhance the fit and comfort. The soles have a good tread without tracking in gobs of Florida sand. They have reflective threads (those contrasting colors stripes) across the top from the sole to the "lace" area, nice touch. The sole is bumpy enough so my feet don't sweat and slip and slide on it. Again, very happy with everything. My athletic shoes are usually 11 1/2 and that is what I ordered, a perfect fit with enough space so the toe nails don't catch at any time. Happy, happy!!

I bought the one in brown and the other with teal. I wish that there were another color to choose from, orange would be nice for guys. I love Teva shoes! Comfort and durability are key, and with these assets, you'll have happy feet! I'll be looking for more Teva in the future!

Answer Even though the sole are fairly no slip, there is always a possibility of slipping on wet river rock.
