I prefer to walk barefoot, and these are great flip-flops to protect the bottoms of my feet a bit but not disturb my natural gait. The top straps are a bit tighter than on some, but in my case I found this convenient as the flip flop stays on - even when I run in them! I wore a pair all summer, virtually every day and they are still kicking. Great price for a very useful shoe.
