I thought they would need a “breaking in” period but they were great out of the box. I love the crepe soles - they are “cushy” and they aren’t noisy like other heels. I wore them all day without any problems and I typically walk 12,000+ steps a day. I am thinking of getting another pair in a different color. These are great!

I would recommend these in a heart-beat. Some previous reviewers said they had issues with the heel being too wide, but I wore these with a thin pair of socks and didn't have that issue at all.

I'm a 7 and they fit fine and I think they should have good traction based on the design on the sole of the shoe. I haven't really given them a day-long test, so may revise the star rating up a notch if they really impress me.

The perforations keep it from getting too hot inside since the waterproofing doesn't seem to let the leather breath, but these are still on the warm side. Scuffs and little bits of dirt have been pretty easy to brush off which I was happy about since they're such a light color. Fit was slightly odd at first (a little snug in the foot and wide in the ankle) but they've grown more comfortable after a couple weeks of wear. All in all a solid, well constructed shoe, comfortable enough and great for PNW fall puddles.

That aside, these were comfortable out of the box, true to size, soft to the touch. I wore them three days in a row right when I got them. A great, everyday casual boot, but can be dressed up as well. Also very cute.
