A good shoe for long beach walks.

I use them sailing, keep my feet cool and when they get wet they dry easily.

Comfort is most impotant with this type of shoe. Its a bonus that they're a handsome shoe, as well.

I like items that travel well and also look good. Very easy to pack into a backpack and use a casual shoes and also daily wear.

I got these shoes on special and they ere exactly what I wanted for white water rafting and canyoneering in Costa Rica. They have good grip and your feet feel protected. They are comfortable and they didn't chafe much even though I didn't get to wear them in much before my trip. They didn't smell like others have reported but they do take a long time to dry which is a downside.

These are great for all round use

I'm not sure if I would wear these without socks. I think the lateral aspect of my little toes would get chafed. Otherwise they are really great.

I have not had a chance to break these in or test them thoroughly yet due to the winter weather. They are comfortable right out of the box, and appear to be durable. Their primary use will be hiking the hot muddy trails of Hawaii, which will take place in a few weeks. Although they feel snug at first, ( and some people will say they run a half size to small ) another half size would make the heel rise up and down too much. The snugness lends itself to good support and stability. The toebox is ample enough for my hammer toe (extended toe next to the big toe). They will be much cooler and less expensive than the Merril water shoes, although I use Merrils for a true open sandal, which does give the support needed for light hiking.
