“It's the heels I like”

“I wear an orthotic arch support and need the heel stopper to hold the orthotic from shifting to the back of the shoe and eventually out the heel....very unsightly and not particularly helpful to the problem. This sandal has the heel stopper to keep the orthotic from escaping and in fact, hold it in place. Probably more of an issue for people than sandal makers are aware...especially for those of us who use our sandals to walk great distances and need the orthotic too.”
