I got these for walking on the beach at night when I moved to Florida...for one thing...the long walks in the sand were starting to hurt my heels....secondly...my son stepped on a jelly fish...I wanted to protect myself from them and sharp shells. Very very comfortable..would wear as a reagular snea...

These are really cute shoes but....... too tight for my fat foot. I was worried because Teva run narrow, but from other reviews I thought these would work. They are wider than most Teva's and was wide enough in the toe box but the ankle strap is uncomfortably tight. For a narrower foot they seem like they would be really comfortable, supportive shoes, but would still be a struggle to put on.
