I bought a brown pair for my 10 yo son. He wears a size 5.5 and that was what I got for him. Would have prefer a size 6 but STP didn't have brown color for that size.

Overall, he is happy with it.

My daughter loves them and wears them to school. I'd say they're a bit overbuilt for that and you could hike in them, as their name implies. Very solid construction and yet they look great. One thing, though: they run extremely small. I would guess that's why they're closeouts here at STP. Teva had trouble selling them since they're mis-sized. There was no review option for "Feels two sizes too small." If there were, I'd have chosen that. My daughter normally wears a size 1; we bought size 3, as that was the smallest they had, intending to wear them next year. They fit now, though she has to tighten them up as much as possible. But that's another plus: given their shape and their build quality, she'll be able to wear them for many months.
