“I love these on slippery rocks, stream crossings, hiking thru clay-like mud. When crossing streams where you have to jump from one wet rock to the other these make me look agile, sure-footed. My other trail runners slip all over and I fall in and look a mess and clumsy. These drain the wter quickly if you do choose to wde thru the water instead. I did find that they didn't last as long as I expected but I bought two pair cuz I love them and the price is right.”
