Teva Gamma Pro Shoes (For Women)

I work outside and thought that these light, breathable shoes would be great for hosing off at the end of a dirty day. And they were until the fell apart and lost all ability to absorb any kind of shock. At the end of wearing them daily for 4 months, they were pretty much done. I wore them for one more month, which was pretty painful. I realize that they are made for water sports, but I was hoping for a bit more outdoor wear.

Has a nice wide toe area but the fabric and laces work on narrow insteps like mine. Comfortable walking shoe. Haven't tried it in water yet. The red and gray are attractive yet obviously don't match too many outfits.

I love these on slippery rocks, stream crossings, hiking thru clay-like mud. When crossing streams where you have to jump from one wet rock to the other these make me look agile, sure-footed. My other trail runners slip all over and I fall in and look a mess and clumsy. These drain the wter quickly if you do choose to wde thru the water instead. I did find that they didn't last as long as I expected but I bought two pair cuz I love them and the price is right.

I haven't worn them too much yet, but they seem comfortable.

Casual wear

Got these to do the slot canyons in southern Utah. Haven't used them yet, but they look good and they feel great. Can't wait.

My husband and I both love these shoes!!! We are both whitewater kayakers, and they are great on slick rocks as well as longer hikes.

I have been looking for a quality shoe for camping and the beach. Since they are new, I wore them to work on casual Friday with jeans and they were appropriate for my work setting and a nice alternative to running shoes. I wore them for the first time for about six hours with little discomfort. They were a bit difficult to get off and I thought that I might have a blister on my instep, but I didn't. I am hoping that with time they will loosen up a bit but overall I am pleased with their appearance, their quality and their price. My philosophy has always been to find the best quality at the lowest price. Why buy poorly constructed shoes from discount retailers when you can shop for quality, name-brand products at Sierra Trading Post for the same money?

Teva makes a great water shoe, but this one runs on the small and narrow side, so order accordingly.
