I really have a thing for purple and these shoes are a wonderful rich and bright purple color. Even better, they are very comfortable, fit my feet just right, feel light, are great to walk in. I have tried a several pair of water shoes because of painful foot problems. None of them have been comfortable enough to wear for my swimming therapy, which I take three times a week because of Parkinsons. The Teva Gnarkosi has so far been successful in achieving some comfort with a large toe box and ability to adjust laces to get a good fit. The only complaints are that the bottom is slick, which can be cured by roughing up with sandpaper and the laces are very long. I cut them shorter and added a toggle on the end to keep them securely and easily tied. I bought the fabulously purple pair because I am "plum crazy."

These trendy shoes were right on the mark! They fit my wide toebox and narrow ankle perfectly, are well padded and comfortable and the color is blazing - purple! They do look like a "hipster" street shoe, but I find them really light and they have great traction in weather. After a killer rain storm, they dried out quickly and were very easy to clean. For this price, utterly satisfied with this purchase.

I'v had these shoes for two year, wearing them every day in spring, summer and fall. It's surprising how well the shoes held up. Only the soles worn out.
They are especially great for when it rains or when there's heavy dew on the grass. This was a repeat order.

I purchased these for my partner for an upcoming trip to the Amazon Basin. She has owned Teva footwear for years. Her last 'water shoes' held up well on many whitewater trips, the SE Asia monsoon season, and many rainforest treks. However being 'style' conscious she always disliked the utilitarian hiker look when worn off the water. She was quite pleased with the sneaker/skater style of these shoes. While not fully tested in the rainforest, a swimming pool test was conducted and the shoes were still comfortable when wet and dried moderately fast. In the past Teva quality has been superior - I expect similar results. Also the size ran true to her fit.
