    Comfortable from the get-go (nice, soft sole), and velcro seems durable after 4 days of hiking on dirt trails and wading in marsh. I ended up wearing these everyday and never wore my hiking boots once. Didn't have to hike over any rocky terrain, however. Time will tell how long they last, but I'm completely satisfied with the price I got them for.
