Teva Lava Falls Amphibious Shoes (For Kids and Youth)

My child has worn them every day and they still look great.

I ordered a size 3 for my 7 yrs old boy who currently wears a size 2.5. The shoe was a tad smaller than his current shoes. I was also surprised that the shoes were much lighter and less rugged than I anticipated. We have been wearing Teva sandals for many years and we were expecting something similar. I was hoping this pair of Teva would work for school duties too but they don't like they can withstand the abuse. I gave a 4-star but would consider this strictly as water shoes, not an everyday shoes.

First of all, these sneakers look pretty cool. I am not a fan of loud and showy sneaker designs, but these are interesting looking without being showy. Also because they are amphibious, you can get them wet and they dry out super fast. I have bought Teva sneakers in the past from Sierra and have always been pleased with them.

These shoes do the job, from playground scrambing to hiking in the woods in fall. They are nice and lightweight, relatively easy to put on, and go the distance when it comes to scrambling on rocks, log walking and other toddler movement necessities.

Not much cushioning - so wouldn't use them for extensive walking. But great for everyday use. I have a wide foot, so like to wear kids shoes. Bought these a 1/2 size larger. Great value. Love the color Mulberry.

I bought these shoes for my daughter, but quickly realized that they would be too large after they arrived. I ended up wearing these and keeping them for myself. I ordered a size 6. They fit me perfectly though I normally wear a 7.5 in women's shoes. Besides the sizing problem, they look and feel great... very lightweight.

I ordered these shoes for my 9 year old son and he refused to wear them so I sent them back. He thought the blue was too feminine to wear. Otherwise no complaints with the quality of these shoes!
