I bought these last minute before a trip to the Yucatan. The right price and arrived faster than expected. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Wore them everywhere from the beach to the surf, hikes through the jungle, and even wore them to climb up Mayan ruins. They even were supple and grippy enough to hug the trunk while pulling myself 15 feet up a tree using a liana vine. Plus they are pretty darn cool looking...

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoes

I bought these shoes just before my wife and I went to St. John USVI. [...] I tried them around the house and yard....felt good. My wife and I like to hike a lot. We are no wimps or couch potatoes and we spend most of our waking time outside whenever possible. On St. John we hiked every day for miles. We did not rent a car. So, we were on rocky hiking trails, paved roads, beach, and ocean. These shoes were great. Very comfortable, quick drying, durable, great traction on the trails. The only time I wore my sandles was to go to dinner at night. Otherwise I wore these shoes the entire time. The only downside was that the inner foot bed became lose after going in the water. A bit annoying, but fixed with strong waterproof adhesive. I am happy I purcahsed them.
