Teva Lava Falls Amphibious Shoes (For Women)

Very comfortable shoes. Love them! I wear them for walking and some water activities. Haven´t had hot days, so I don´t know haw they will work in warmer climates. Still, a very good purchase.

Purchased these to go on a tubing expedition. I know - that type of activity doesn't sound very "in", but that's why I bought them. I also canoe at times so I thought these would be excellent for that. I also wanted a pair of shoes that would be versatile for hiking. And I was hoping that my orthotics would fit in these for hiking. Immediately I know noticed how comfortable the shoes were. Haven't used for hiking yet, however, but would be great for just knocking around.

I was looking for a replacement for my Teva Aravallis( a trail shoe which is light with support and cushion) which I totally love. These don't have quite the support and cushion as the Aravallis, but they are still great. Tevas are well-known for their sandals, but I have discovered that their shoes are wonderful too.

I love these Tevas...so far so good. Comfort, fit very well, wide enough across the toes yet not sloppy, narrow enough around the heel. The bungy cord is great and the excess hides well beneath the tab or the tongue. I will have a good idea in 3-6 months as to longevity of them. Will the material hold up under the chlorine they encounter in the water aerobics classes I put them through or will them deteriorate and rot my feet in 6 months like the Columbia's I had last time?? So hold off from final judgement until later. Thank you, love them very much...
