I have to begin this review by saying that I have not worn these out of the house yet... when I do I will come back and adjust my review accordingly (also why I only gave four stars). I bought these boots after searching high and low for a winter boot that had the warmth and practicality of a hardcore, rubber, ultra-insulated winter boot without the bulk, something that I could slog through slushy, icy, snowy city streets in, but then head in to the mall for Christmas shopping without feeling like my feet are in cement shoes. Originally I wanted Joan of Arcs by Sorel but the line seems increasingly shoddy and it seems like that style (and knock-offs) are everywhere now. I liked the quilting, the grommets, the two-color design and the overall pretty-but-tough look of these. I found these boots for **$76** on STP between a sale and a promo code, and it was by far the best price by over $30-100, depending on the other sites you looked at (and the size you require). I am always impressed by the prices at STP. The low price made them by far the best technical choice for my requirements in that range, but I wasn't sure how they would look in person.

I am usually a 7.5 but I got an 8 in these, based on reviews and my tendency to layer socks and legwear. They fit perfectly. The leather feels very high-quality, the stitching looks good, and the faux fur is a cute touch. I wanted to avoid a very tall boot because again, I didn't want bulk, and these are great: they completely cover the ankle but don't quite reach the halfway mark between my heel and my knee. Putting them on, I needed to use the side zipper vent, but once I did, they fit perfect, snug and comfortable. They feel VERY warm and solidly made once they're on, but they are also light and flexible, which I think means good things for winter traction; I don't like heavy, stiff boots that don't allow for movement/sensation, I feel more likely to slip in them even if the sole is very grippy. So we'll see how these perform in the snow/slush/ice/rain when I have the occasion to try them out. Overall, I'm really impressed by the appearance and the structure of these boots. I'm thinking of using a waterproofing spray on them before I take them out, because it can't hurt.

Thanks Sierra Trading Post! I only wish you had a brick and mortar store near me in Troy, NY! [...]3

I looked everywhere for the perfect boot and right when I was ready to give up I found these. They are warm, comfortable and the color I was searching for. Best part of all is they are waterproof. We get a lot of snow and I was getting tired of wet feet. That's all in the past now.

Very light, nice slim looking boots. Warm with good fit. Size is very precise so if you are hesitating or want to wear a thick sock take one size up.

I did a lot of research into what pair of snow boots I wanted for this winter, as my old ones have worn out. I found these since I wanted a boot with a higher cuff but also flexible. After reading the reviews for this boot I decided it was the best option, I bought it a half size bigger as suggested and it fits perfect. It is very warm and so far is holding up as I would like it to.

I have yet to wear the boots in the snow (it hasn't snowed yet in Minnesota) but they seem very warm and are comfortable. They run a bit on the narrow side so they may not be great for people with wider feet though they fit my normal width feet well. I can't wait for it to snow so I can wear them!

I love these boots. They are great looking on and very comfortable. It hasn't snowed here yet so I don't know how warm they are. I wear a size 71/2 to an 8. I got the 8 and they fit perfect. Would definitely recommend them and what a bargain!

I liked the boot a lot but I have a very high instep and the arch was not enough support for me. As a result of this I had to entirely unlace the boot to get it on. So unfortunately I returned this pair.
