    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I like the way this sandal looks, but it is poorly made. The strap on the left sandal connects to far in the middle thus pushing my toes awkwardly to the side. Right foot sandal is perfect, but the left foot defect makes these impossible to wear except while kicking around at the beach. Cannot wear them for any significant length of time. Disappointed.

    Fit seems consistent with other Teva products where 1/2 sizes are not available. The leather strap is a little wide between the toes as one other reviewer pointed out. But I've gotten used to it and assume with age the leather will get softer. Really like design.

    Good quality flip-flop thongs. Stylish design and just enough arch support. Soles and footbeds seem durable. Overall weight is not ultralight like a Teva Mush or Mush II thong, but not as heavy/rigid as some other flip flops I've owned, i.e. - Simple brand.
