These fit like moccasins - like a glove, really - with minimal cushioning yet surprisingly comfortable. It was a nice revelation to feel the earth beneath my feet on hikes, the pebbles and uneven surfaces, and not fatiguing as I'd thought. They kept a spring in my step. Yet I wouldn't recommend them if carrying weight (or if overweight). Great for approach shoes, short or all-day hikes, traveling light. The soles don't mark up the terrain either, but nicely grippy.

I have had 2 pairs, both lasted less than 3 months. The cowhide lace loops are too thin and tear out after just short use. Otherwise, the shoe looks great and is comfortable

these were the most comfortable light hikers I've ever owned. I love them to death. three months was all it took-two overnight hiking trips and a few day hikes, plus some wear around town and to work was all it took to get the sole to de-laminate from the foam layer. too bad. I loved the feel.

Just bought my second pair. Great fishing shoe for rocky and steep areas. Over time, outer sole unsticks - repair is a snap with CA glue.
