I lived in a pair of Teva Mandlynn sandals this past summer. They're comfortable and sturdy but there's nothing clunky or sloppy about them (as with many "flip flops"). I received compliments on them (from friends and strangers) virtually every time I wore them. Still in great condition after a full... Read More

  • Question “Does the wedge design make your feet slide forward when walking?”

Asked on 7/18/2016 5:18:36 PM by fizzywater from California
    • Answer I haven't had any problems with my feet sliding. They're comfortable and stylish. No complaints :-)
Answered on 7/18/2016 5:28:27 PM by Melanie from Norfolk, VA
    • Answer That has not been my experience. The heel is flattering but not very high.
Answered on 7/18/2016 6:04:46 PM by MCO from Colorado
    • Answer The wedge does make my feet slide forward slightly when walking but it helps to keep them on and the strap material is soft and so it is comfortable. I where my sandals every day and this design would not stop me from buying another pair.
Answered on 7/18/2016 8:42:58 PM by Sandal Gardner from Northwest
    • Answer Slightly, but once your feet have settled into the shoes, they don't move much. I'm on my second pair and the only reason I replace them is because the soles wear down in front where my toes are and then my toes start to rub against the ground when I walk. But I wear my shoes nearly every day during the warm months.
Answered on 7/19/2016 11:13:32 AM by Machelle from Colorado
    • Answer They seem to be average width. They aren't particularly tight or loose on the feet. Of course the fabric loosens/stretches a bit with wear. The way the straps are configured allows the shoes to sort of self adjust to each persons feet. So most feet should fit and be comfortable in these shoes.

    • Answer They are average width and should fit most feet. The way the straps are configured allow for a comfortable fit for a variety of shapes of feet.
This is my second pair and the shoes co form perfectly to my feet and are always comfortable. I can wear them all day and my feet aren't sore.
Answered on 6/5/2016 1:56:42 AM by Machelle from Colorado
    • Answer Yes - medium width. Seems to be similar to my other sandals. I LOVE these. The pink ones are my second pair. I got the first pair last year and have worn
them a LOT - can even walk short to medium distances in comfort.

    • Answer My shoe size is a true 9M - consistent with most every shoe brand. I don't recall now if the sandal straps were narrow and then stretched slightly to accommodate my medium width. They are very comfortable so you might want to give them a try.

    • Answer Height of the sole under the toe area is 5/8", so there is a 1 3/8" difference. I love these sandals, very comfortable, and I dont feel like I am wearing heels. I can wear them to the beach or dress them up with a skirt-love them!!

    • Answer The width is 5/8" at the toe area.

    • Answer I have an average width foot and the straps are always a bit loose on me, and become a little looser thru wear. Yes they stretch, but are not elastic.
Answered on 7/20/2015 3:13:08 PM by P from California
    • Answer They do not stretch, my foot is average width and they fit ok. I would not recommend for a wide forefoot.

    • Answer The straps are not adjustable but they do stretch. I have bunions; after a short break in the straps are very comfortable, altho where the bunions are my foot does extend over the edge of the footbed slightly. But they are still very comfortable. I just wish they hadn't changed the bottom to make it narrower, it seems like you could roll your ankle more easily in these than the old version which was straight from the footbed to the bottom, not sloping in.

    • Answer No, they are not adjustable.
Answered on 7/20/2015 3:42:15 PM by Summer from Silver Spring, MD
    • Answer They are not adjustable. The straps are made from nylon webbing. They are smooth with almost no stretch.
Answered on 7/20/2015 4:06:02 PM by Andrea from NY
    • Answer The straps do not adjust but there is a little "give" in them without overstretching.
Answered on 7/20/2015 6:26:37 PM by Seattle mom at large from Seattle
    • Answer I have a wide foot, too. They stretched for me after about 6 times of wearing them, for awhile each time. They're a bit uncomfortable at first but once they're stretched, they're VERY comfy! Hope this helps!!

    • Answer They do stretch, but not that much. I would size up if that is an issue. They are pretty medium--not wide, not narrow. If you get them wet with hot tap water and then wear them around until they dry then they do stretch some, but not tons. I'd go up a half size and then try them on, and if you just need a little stretching, then go for it, but if you will need a lot, then I'd return and try a different style.

    • Answer The straps aren't adjustable but do stretch a bit. I usually wear a medium width shoe and ordered a half size up to accommodate both width and a high arch. They fit great.

    • Answer they have some give. It seems like they would fit, although they should come in a wide width.

    • Answer They do have some give, but I wouldn't say they stretch.

    • Answer They were a bit tight on me when I first got them and I'm a 6 1/2 to 7 medium size. They do not "stretch" but I have gotten used to the straps snugness. It does not bother me. At first I thought it would but now I appreciate how these actually stay on my feet. I find the wedge angle of these a bit awkward though and often choose my flat Tevas over these. They are cute and a great price but not the most comfortable

    • Answer The straps do not stretch and are not adjustable. My sister and I both have them and our feet are narrow to average and they fit us well.
