There is a very soft footbed and the straps are also soft. I love this pair and will buy more when it goes on sale.

I love the price and the texture is great if your child has sweaty feet like my son. The texture of the is great not smooth and flat like most flip flops which his feet slip and slide when they get sweaty but not these! Great price great purchase.

We have been through several pairs of Tevas over the years and as usual, I have to size up for him with the Teva brand because they do run a bit small. He just grew into a size 5 but I ordered a 6. And . . . they fit with just enough room for summer growth. If unsure, I would recommend ordering a size up. Teva sandals seem to be the one element of his wardrobe that not only DOESN'T wear out, but barely shows any wear and can be passed on! Since he can put holes in shoes/jeans, etc in no time flat, this is a testimony to the high quality of TEVA!
