Teva Open-Toachi Sport Sandals (For Men)

I'm so glad Teva still makes a shoe with a snap instead of pulling Velro every time you put them on or take them off....

When I first bought these, I thought, cool, they are easy to put on and take off with the clip built into the top strap. The neoprene made the strap really comfortable. I wore these for one day and found that the arch support started rubbing rather roughly and I ended up walking around barefoot where I could for the rest of the day. And this is from someone who almost never goes barefoot. Keeping that in mind, it does not bode well for the comfort and usability of these sandals.

worn these now for months, i run in them everyday. they are holding up fine, and are very comfortable. only downside = stickers can get caught in the mesh on the sole.

I could not get the Terra Fi 3 in my size, which is what I usually buy, so I decided to try Teva Open-Toachi Sport Sandals. The sandal is nice looking, but the fit was too short and too narrow. I couldn't get the next size up, so I returned for a refund.

I bought these for my son. He found the arch support excellent for his foot build. That same arch support may not do well with someone who needs only minimal arch support. He finds them comfortable to wear. They offer far more protection than flip flops but still allows open air comfort.

The only sandals for me. Comfortable, durable, and they stay put on your feet in the water. I have even hiked a peak in these - though I would never recommend that. Wear boots for hiking.

I love my Tevas. I owned one pair comparable to these Open-Toachi. I love these Open-Toachi but I would prefer the nylon straps that my old pair had. I don't remember the model name of my old pair but the shape is almost identical to these. The drain holes work great, but also let liquids up through the holes. I never saw a need for drain holes, but they do work as advertised. I would recommend these sandals to anyone.

Fit is good although my foot sits a bit forward in the sandal. I bought a half size larger and it was a good thing. My toes are very near the front edge but there is a half inch of heel room at the back side. Very comfortable.
