    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    since these are braced firmly at the heel and not as much beyond it, these shoes give an unexpected work-out to the front half of the foot, from the arch, forward. also they are really ugly, but that was completely expected. as utility non-thong sandals, just not sure my search is over with these. good price though.

    I bought these to replace a similar pair of Eccos that had worn out over several years. Both are very comfortable sandals. If the Eccos got wet, the footbed became slippery. STrange for an aquatic sandal. I haven't tried out these new TEvas in the water yet, but I think that they will do great. I am thrilled to find this type of sandal from TEva at STP prices.
