Best pair of Teva sandals! Dirty? Just toss in the washer with towels and then air dry. They never smell, even after wearing them all day! I have three pair in different colors. Love them!

    • A US size 8 is equivalent to an Aus women's 6.5. Autralian sizes are a size and a half smaller than the US size for women's shoes. I'd check to see if you tried on a US 8 as Teva is US sizing.

    • the outside heel measurement on mine is 1 and 1/4 inch and under the front strap is about 3/4 inch. the foot bed has a depression for the heel and great heel cushioning. I don't really notice that my heel has any elevation. hope that helps

    • ..about an inch.

    • These run true to size. It depends what sort of shoe you are referring to, if it's a running/tennis shoe go with that size.

    • I normally wear a 9 1/2 boot and an 8 1/2 shoe. I bought an 8 in the open toed Toachi because my 2 pairs of toe-guard Toachi's were 8's (though my toe touches the front). The opened toed Toachi seems a little short in an 8, but I will keep them as my feet are very narrow, and I don't think an 8 1/2 would work for me. If you have M width feet, you would probably want an 8 1/2.

    • I'd choose the shoe size. The size 8 length is just right for me, and I wear an 8 in almost every other shoe. The width is quite adjustable.

    • 8 1/2 I usually wear a 9 and my size 9 teva's are too long.

About Teva

When a young river guide named Mark Thatcher started building his own sandals back in the 1980s, he had no idea his creation would eventually become a household name in the outdoor footwear industry. Today, Teva sandals are considered a pioneering force in go-anywhere utility. From muddy river bottoms to dusty trails to city sidewalks, Teva shoes and sandals are designed to provide the ultimate mix of lightweight support, superior traction and unique style. Over the past quarter century, Teva footwear has expanded its hybrid roots, defying the limitations and taking on new territory. With grippy rubber outsoles and anatomically designed footbeds, Teva sandals and shoes provide the support you need to paddle, hike, explore and generally have a blast outside.
