Teva Open-Toachi Sport Sandals (For Women)

great for summer, great support can wear all day and my heals don't hurt.

Sturdy, well-made, versatile, with excellent arch support.

Teva sandals are one of the only shoe I can buy online with confidence. I usually have a hard time finding shoes etc. that are comfortable for my 9 1/2 feet.

Use sandal for work and casual wear, walking/errands. I ordered a different style Teva sandal in size 5 which was great. This style seems just a little smaller in fit, While it has some very good support, the way it hits me on my left foot is going to take a little adjusting to. It does chafe a little currently. However, the sandal has a real nice look and does offer great support. I have some very special problems which make my situation a little unique. It is a nice looking sandal and, overall, I am pleased.

This is the only sandal I have found that is supportive to the whole foot, including the arch. Traction is good even on stoney ground.

I use these sandals while working outside at our lake cottage which is on an island in the flood plain. It's often very wet and soggy. The sandals are okay, but they don't seem to be as durable as the old Tevas I had. They are not as heavy duty. The clasp is on a Velcro strap instead of a plain adjustable strap, so I'm worried that over time the Velcro will wear out and the clasp will be useless.

These shoes were great, I hiked in them a handful of times and wore during travel a few times in the 2 years I had them. However, on my most recent adventure, rafting in California, the traction portion of the soles started to flap behind me as I walked. By the mid-day the traction on both soles peeled off the thick rubber. The glue must have just let go and all four (toes and heels) peeled leaving a very slick-when-wet sole remaining. They were great shoes for a couple years, but for the price!? And for the frequency that I wore them I'd expect more. Our rafting guides--asked if they were Teva and nodded they'd seen this before--all recommend and wear Chacos. I do still love the comfort of the shoes, but durability was disappointing.

I like the design, but it doesn't seem to be as well made as an older Teva sandal with similar design of straps.

These are the most comfortable shoes I own. I've worn them nearly every day since I bought them a few weeks ago. I wear them walking, hiking, biking, gardening, and for running errands. They are everything you'd want in a comfortable, everyday sandal. My only complaint would be that I'd like for there to be a more stylish, cute alternative for wearing when I want to dress up a bit more. These seem a bit utilitarian, but other than that, a wonderful sandal!

When everyone else's feet were killing them on long walks on the beach in their regular flip flops, mine were fine. They offer good support and stability. They were great for running on the beach. I learned the hard way not to run barefoot at the ocean. They are great for long walks, bike riding, etc. I ordered a pair for my daughter. She wanted to trade her shoes for mine at the beach. They don't dry imediately, but that was fine... they're not advertised as water sandals.
