All right, so I was looking for a first pair of sandals for my little toddler. After searching high and low I decided on these. They are lightweight, have good traction, can be adjusted with two straps (those come completely open)... and what else can one want? They also fit true to size, but perhap...

I purchased a pair of these for each of my twin 2-year-olds. They replace sandals from another famous maker - sandals with bulletproof toe protection. These Teva's don't have much of any toe protection, but they appear to offer much better coverage over the top of the foot.
The quality of the build on these sandals is high. The colors are great. I'm just hoping that the choice to go with open toed sandals like this was wise. If nothing else, The open toe look will probably keep the sandals from trapping dirt, perspiration and thus avoid the wonderful odors that follow!

Bought two pairs of these Tevas for my twin grandsons and they never have worked out. They are wide and seem big. The velcro doesn't line up correctly. When I tried to clean them the sole separated on two shoes and completely detached from a third one.
It can be worn by either. It looks like a dull blueish grey.

I think it could suit both, the color on the screen is how they actually look like. I bought these for my little boy.

Its not really blue at all, its grey with red on the bottom, just like in the picture.

It's a very, very light blue. Since I don't follow color/gender "rules", I can't really answer the "boys or girls" question--there is nothing at all gender-specific about these sandals, though--no images of trucks, flowers, etc. etc.
