These are great shoes. Keep feet warm and dry. They look pretty good too. A seven year old can wear them for school or play but also for somewhat dressier occasions. They are a little bit heavy and stiff but they have relatively rugged uppers and soles and a waterproof membrain. The comments about the sizing are right one. Order a size up, at least. My son is a 1.5 and the 2 in these shoes was too small. Had to get a size 3 and now all is good.

Seems to be a well made shoe with at least some arch support and is not overly heavy, but runs extremely small. Sized up according to the reviews, but had to return for the next larger size from there. Was trying to avoid the expense of exchanging. Hope this next one fits when it arrives.

Says they are just as comfortable as his Keens. He suffers from arch pain without support. These have enough to keep his feet happy.

My son wore these for only a few weeks, and the toe trim above the sole has already worn through on both shoes. Previous shoes (other brands) have never shown wear in this spot. The black trim is extremely thin, and the early wear was a big surprise. The rest of the shoe is holding up well, but unfortunately after only a few weeks the shoes look bad due to this, and my son won't wear them anymore. Very disappointed in what otherwise seems like a solid shoe.

These shoes are very well-made, the only problem is that they seem to run small. Had to order next size up.

About Teva

When a young river guide named Mark Thatcher started building his own sandals back in the 1980s, he had no idea his creation would eventually become a household name in the outdoor footwear industry. Today, Teva sandals are considered a pioneering force in go-anywhere utility. From muddy river bottoms to dusty trails to city sidewalks, Teva shoes and sandals are designed to provide the ultimate mix of lightweight support, superior traction and unique style. Over the past quarter century, Teva footwear has expanded its hybrid roots, defying the limitations and taking on new territory. With grippy rubber outsoles and anatomically designed footbeds, Teva sandals and shoes provide the support you need to paddle, hike, explore and generally have a blast outside.
