Got this pair of shoes for my toddler for an upcoming trip to Canada. I followed other reviewer's advice on ordering a size up. Turns out they were right. It fits small so ordering a size up worked out for me. It looks like it will keep my toddler's feet warm and dry but we haven't tried it out ... Read More

We have two pairs of these boots -- sizes 8 and 13. The 8 fits like a toddler 6.5. The 13 fits roughly like an 11.5. Aside from the wacky sizing (the kids' Teva sandals, in comparison, seem to fit larger than the stated size!), these boots are great. Comfortable even on long hikes, plenty durable, waterproof, and with the toggles and Velcro our 2-year-old could put them on by herself!
    • Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Wet Conditions
    • Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable, Great Traction, No Break-in, Sturdy/Durable
    • Sizing: Feels full size too small
    • Width: Feels true to width

Both my 5 year old and 2 year old have a pair of these boots. Too bad Teva quit making them. My 5 year old still tries to wear his even though they're a little small. I have a pair in the mens size and I love those too. Great for light hikes or overnighters. Easy for my boys to put on by themselves too. They are alos very waterproof. We have romped in creeks and feet never got wet.

I bought these for my grandson and he has wider feet, so I bought a full size larger and they are very hard to put on and are a little stiff for a 2 1/2 year old. But great quality! Don't buy if you have wider feet

    • Answer That's a toddler size 8, and they actually fit more like a toddler 6.5. Most of our daughter's size 7 shoes are still a little big on her, but she just grew out of these size 8 boots. Hope that helps.
