Teva Sayulita Cork Sandals (For Women)

love these shoes...very comfortable and cute

I think that these sandals are well made and structured. The only problem that I have is getting the buttons through the leather strap holes. My husband has to help me put them on. I do think that after they break in a bit, this problem shgould subside.

I had to return these sandals because the straps were impossible to open/close - they had small metal pegs that you had to push into the strap holes - I spent a half hour trying to do that and gave up, packed them and shipped them back. Too bad because they are cute.

I really love these shoes.. so when I point out the one con, please be aware that I still wore them a LOT last summer and will do so again this year! The strap closures are unique, and like nothing I have ever seen or used before. There is something like a large rivit on the inner side of the shoe strap that must go "through" a small hold on the outer strap. Problem is that the hole is very small and the leather stiff.. giving real trouble getting the rivet through the hole! I'm afraid to do too much to stretch the hold, though, for fear that if I do, the straps won't stay attached anymore..... But even so, I love the shoes... I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE WITH DIFFICULTY BUCKLING SHOES IN GENERAL AS IT TAKES SOME TIME TO GET THESE ON SOMETIMES; AND DEFINITELY NOT FOR ANYONE WITH ANY SORT OF ARTHRITIS OR OTHER ILLNESS THAT LIMITS MOBILITY OR STRENGTH IN THE HANDS AND FINGERS!
