Teva Shay Leather Shoes - Lace-Ups (For Women)

I love the color of these (red). It's so rare that you can find adult shoes in fun colors, and these are a fun color yet earthy as well. I love that there is no tongue in them to get all turned around once they're laced up!

I had to send them back. Because of the insole, I couldn't get these on while wearing socks - they hung up on the "mush" insole. Although they are lace-ups, there is no independent "tongue", so you have to wedge your foot through the not-to-terribly-stretchy collar. I darned near dislocated a knuckle trying to get them on. Once on, they were really quite comfy, and felt true to size and width. Just not a good fit for me as I prefer to wear socks. Awfully funky & cute, I'm disappointed that they wouldn't work for me.

So cute! I wanted them to work but I could hardly get my (normal size) foot through the opening. This is the second Teva shoe (different style) that I've bought with this problem. (Teva, do you try on your own shoes?!) Will stick with Teva sandles. Returned the shoes.

This product is the second like this that I got from Teva. As the bottom is both rubber and leather, it's not for rain or snow. I wear a regular size 9 shoe, but in this, I need an 11. Some difference!! I think it's made to wear without socks and so is smaller than expected.

The shoe felt fine once it was on, but the opening for your foot is so narrrow that it's a warm up for exerecise to get the shoe on!

this is my second time ordering the same item. be careful to order the correct size. i had to return the first one as this item was made to wear without socks and definitely runs small. because of this, teva did pay the cost of the exchange. i usually wear size 9, but with this it's size 11.
