“I would never have bought these sandals”

“The treads on the shoes are so deep & the pointed corners make them dangerous. I've stumbled when walking onto carpets since the deep treads catch on the carpet. Going down the carpeted stairs is really risky with these shoes because the tread catches on that carpet also. My longish dress hem was torn out by the treads as I walked down the stairs. I usually have problems with sandals being too loose for my feet, but the heel strap is hardly wide enough to stay together. The sides of the shoes also rubbed on my feet & I had raw spots on my feet when I took them off. I would have returned them, but I had to have shoes to wear for a hiking trip, & couldn't find anything in my size. As I said, I can't wear most sandals because the straps are too loose for my feet, but these are too tight. The only positive about the shoes is that I didn't have any pressure on my toes, the reason why I prefer sandals whenever I can wear them.Since the weather was so bad, I didn't wear them outside the entire week, but it's now too late to return them since I had worn them .”
