    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I have been wearing these shoes for a few months now after debating on buying these or a more expensive pair. Well, I made the wrong decision because now I need a new pair anyway. The soles are peeling off of the shoe and flopping around. There is no way I can hike in these cheaply manufactured shoes. They look a lot cuter in the pictures, too.

    Over all pretty good, however, coloring of right and left does not match (close enough that once they get dirty it'll be OK I think). Right shoe tighter than left in top arch (which will also wear in I think). Other than that, nice looking and great sole, fairly comfortable.

    I took the advice to buy 1/2 size larger and the shoes fit perfectly. The first time I wore the shoes, it did feel a little tight in the toe area, but it stretched out just fine by the second wearing. I've gone on a couple of short hikes with these shoes and they are very comfortable and stable.

    I will be testing these on a backpacking trip memorial day weekend, but I'm not worried. I've been wearing them as my everyday shoe and I've had no problems. Teva makes good soles and I feel like I could walk forever in these, they really mold to the shape of my foot for great support.
